About & CV

About

Robert Berkeley is a New York-based visual artist working in painting, drawing, sculpture, and installation. Trained as a painter, he later worked across ceramics, jewelry, and teaching before returning to painting after four decades away from the medium.

Since returning to the studio, Berkeley has developed a new body of work built around a recurring visual language. His practice now moves increasingly between two and three dimensions, extending from intimate drawings and paintings toward sculpture and large-scale installation.
